About us
Bram Markey and Thomas Verougstraete have been living and working in Tanzania since 2014. In those years we have gradually started the safari company 'Wild Tanzania' in Arusha. Together with the local team Wilfred, Steven, Zuena & our guides we organize unique & personal trips through the land of the Serengeti & Kilimanjaro.
Thomas Verougstraete
Thomas is co-founder and specialises in luxury safaris, mountaineering, but especially off the beaten track trips to Lake Natron and South/West Tanzania. Thomas was previously manager of the luxury lodge 'Onsea House' in Arusha / Tanzania.
Bram Markey
Co-Founder Bram moved to Tanzania with his wife Lore in 2014 to work for the NGO Rikolto. The vast wilderness of northern Tanzania provided a hugely exciting playground for this nature lover at heart.
Wilfred Sungura Kimaso
Wilfred started out as a car mechanic more than 20 years ago. It became clear that he had exceptional eyes. After studying at the Wildlife Institute, he became a safari guide. Amongst other things, he worked as a guide and spotter for National Geographic.
