Day by day
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Arrival at the airport & transfer to Arusha. We’ll take you to Olerai Lodge, a charming local lodge outside the busy city center. Stay in peace and quiet with unforgettable views over the city & Mount Meru.
The next day we’ll immerse you in Africa. Visit the local market and hike to a spectacular waterfall.
Arusha has a lively atmosphere and a rich cultural history. At the Central Market, you’ll discover a maze of alleys filled with stalls offering exotic spices, fresh fruits, and handmade crafts.
For nature lovers, Arusha offers beautiful surroundings. We provide several hikes, including a trek to the Themi Waterfall on the lush slopes of Mount Meru.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
We drive 2 to 3 hours towards Tarangire National Park. The park of Baobab trees and the largest elephant concentration in the world.
In the evening we’ll stay in a beautiful lodge close to the park.
Day 3: Via Ngorongoro to Serengeti
Day 4: Game drives in Serengeti National Park
Nowhere in the world will you find a comparable concentration of wildlife. Lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffalos, hippos, zebras, wildebeest... This is the ultimate endless wilderness!
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater
From Serengeti you’ll drive to the highlands of Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Here, Masai & wildlife live side by side. You’ll descend into the crater for a final game drive, searching among others for rhinos. You can also expect hyenas, lions, and large herds of buffalos. The old bull elephants here are among the largest in the world.
In the evening we leave the crater and drive to Rhotia Valley Lodge
Day 6: From the highlands back to Arusha
After this unique safari you’ll return to Arusha. The final day of the trip. Unless, of course, you continue your journey to Zanzibar!
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
